Art Journal - C'mon.

C'mon.
(Materials: Martha Stewart Crafts Satin "Wild Salmon" acrylic paint, magazine image from JCREW, Pigma Brush Pen, Pentel Hybrid Technica .03 ballpoint pen)

When combining a sudden urge to paint (an inspiration surge, to say the least), listening to a certain song over and over again and browsing at Andy Warhol-esque paintings, you come out with random journal pages. The quote is random, the paint is random, and the picture is random. But hey, art is art. At least I did something creative yesterday! *thumbs up*

    1. Thank you Lauren! <3
After I'm done with the image transfer (the magazine image), I outline it with a small nib pen so it'll get that 'comic book' feel. It's my favorite effect! :D

  2. i really love that you painted the polka dots over the image transfer! somehow it has such a different feel than if you'd done the transfer on top. yay for creating!

    1. Oh ho ho! But alas, the polka dots ARE under the transfer! Master of Transfer Illusions Extraordinaire! ;)
